EXCHANGE POLICY/ RETURN POLICY
New and Remanufactured electronic merchandise purchases and repairs are warranted for a period of one year from the date of shipment. POS Nerds warrants that all electronic merchandise shall be free from faulty workmanship and/or defective materials. Warranty covers the entire electronic device and coverage is void on devices that have been tampered with or damaged due to abuse or misuse (spillage, power surge, heavy impact, paper jams caused by improper or inadequate maintenance, unauthorized modification, improper use, negligence, or unauthorized repair(s). If a product fails during the warranty period, the unit must be returned to POS Nerds for inspection and repair. POS Nerds will, at its option, repair or replace the defective unit and cover the cost of return shipping expenses. Equipment diagnosed as ?Repair Not Required? is subject to return shipping fees. Expedited return shipping is not covered under the standard warranty policy.
Merchandise purchased from POS Nerds can be returned for a refund less shipping costs or exchange within 14 days from original invoice date. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. To receive a refund the item or items being returned must be in the original state that they were received. If a device has been programed it must be removed from the processors files and deactivated and or unlocked. If a device is received locked the refund will be assessed the 15% restocking fee along with the standard unlock fee of $35. If you received your merchandise through a ?Buy One, Get One Free? or similar offer, all items must be returned in order to receive a refund.
The refund will be processed in the same payment form as the original purchase. Tax (if applicable) is refunded with returns. Credit for returns and exchanges is issued once we confirm receipt of the merchandise. Please be aware that your financial institution may take 5-to-7 business days to process your credit and have it reflect in your account.
For exchanges or returns, we must receive your returned product before we ship the new item. For proof of delivery, we recommend that you return items via Fedex, UPS, or insured USPS. Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. You will need to pay for return shipping, but POS Nerds will ship any exchanged merchandise free of charge if the hardware is deemed ?Under Warranty?.
Non-defective Special Orders are non-returnable.
POS Nerds reserves the right to request identification or deny any exchange or return.
POS Nerds reserves the right to deny any return or exchange. At our discretion, we may decline your return or charge you a fee for a missing item, or for items that we determine are damaged or require service.
POS Nerds reserves the right to amend these terms at any time and to make exceptions on case-by-case basis.
